Suspected Drunk Driver Crossed Center Line

The Georgia car accident took place just south of Azalea Ridge, at about 8:00 pm on September 11. According to Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Curtis W. Bradshaw, Jr. the alleged drunk driver, 75-year-old Alan Vincent Malm, was traveling north on Long Branch Road in Lumpkin County, when he attempted to negotiate a curve and struck a Volkswagen Jetta traveling in the opposite direction. Bradshaw reports that the Jetta was carrying three people – the driver, 19-year-old Draven Tyler Hunter, and passengers, 20-year-old Chelsea Breanna Randall, and 21-year-old Dillon Austin Pitts. Following the GA drunk driving accident, Hunter was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center, while Randall and Pitts were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
