Driver Fled Scene of GA Pedestrian Accident
According to Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones, Robby Manley was driving a 1967 Camaro south on Flat Shoals Avenue at the time of the pedestrian accident. He was reportedly laying drags when he lost control of the vehicle and drove up on the sidewalk, striking the group of pedestrians. “Once the vehicle came to a stop, Mr. Manley ran around the corner and threw his keys,” said Jones. “He was located and arrested. The keys were located.” Manley is being charged with drunk driving, failure to maintain lane, hit and run, failure to render aid, and several other charges in relation to the pedestrian accident.
