I often get the question at the beginning of these cases, how long is my case going to take? The answer to that is that the case generally depends on how hurt you are. It also depends how long your injuries are going to last and how long you're going to need treatment. We don't want to rush you to the end of your case. Generally speaking the cases that take longer are going to be bigger cases. You will want to get treatment as long as you need to until you're all better or as good as you're going to get given the medical treatment available. Don't be in a rush to end your case, most people regret it in the end. A smaller case can take four or six months. A case that goes to trial and gets appealed can take several years. The longest personal injury case I have worked on was nearly 4 years.
