The dedicated lawyers at Rechtman & Spevak are committed to the service of both their community and the law. To increase their personal knowledge and help further the ethical practice of law in Georgia, David Rechtman and Jaret Spevak participate in a number of professional associations. These associations all seek to protect the rights of Georgia citizens and promote the fairness and justice of our legal system.

Atlanta Bar Association

The mission of the Atlanta Bar Association is to maintain professionalism and the fair administration of justice in the Atlanta area. It offers members ample opportunities to get involved in both legal groups and community outreach programs. Both David Rechtman and Jaret Spevak are active members of this local legal group.  Mr. Rechtman served as Chairman of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Atlanta Bar Association from 2000 to 2001.  Mr. Spevak has been an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section since 1995.

The largest voluntary bar association in the Southeast, the Atlanta Bar Association offers professional, social, financial, charitable, and civic programs to citizens. The association also provides courses to promote the continuing education of state lawyers in many different practice areas. This focus on skills enhancement fosters a community of professionals who serve their communities with knowledge and integrity.

It seeks to uphold "the principles of duty and service to the public; to improve the administration of justice; and to advance the science of the law."
