Pedestrian Accident Injures UGA Student
According to bystanders who witnessed the Georgia pedestrian accident, the victim was walking through the crosswalk on Baldwin Street when he was struck by a red pickup truck driven by what appeared to be a middle-aged man. “I was just about to use my phone, and I looked up as the bus stopped…saw [the victim] get off the bus, come around and [the vehicle] hit him,” said a graduate student at UGA who witnessed the pedestrian accident. The victim allegedly cracked the windshield of the pickup truck when it made contact with his head, and had a difficult time getting to his feet after the collision. According to reports, the victim was not knocked unconscious in the accident, but did appear to sustain a leg injury as a result of the collision.
