Mustang and BMW May Have Been Racing

According to the Roswell Police Department, the fatal accident took place on the afternoon of December 14, as 87-year-old Richard Rosen was attempting to make a left-hand turn into North Fulton Hospital off of Highway 9. Police say a white Ford Mustang GT and a black BMW may have been racing northbound on Alpharetta Highway from Holcomb Bridge Road at the same time, between 12:30 p.m. and 12:40 p.m. A video from a nearby business that captured the deadly accident on its surveillance camera shows Rosen slowly approaching the hospital in the left turn lane, when the BWM slammed into his vehicle and then spun around. The driver of the white Mustang was able to avoid the accident and appeared to slow down, but then left the scene of the collision.
